Future Programs
Counseling and Legal aid cell in Guduvanchery which we see as a major offshoot of the parent teacher meet we had had at the end of the last academic year – To provide parent teacher rapport, parent child relationship etc and training for teachers at regular intervals for better functioning of the school.
Cottage Industry as an empowerment program for women – manufacture of sanitary napkins which is an ideal project with as low an investment as 75,000/- for the machinery.
Spoken English Classes for the children of the School, Teachers as well as the Parent Association. This is again a request from the parent community.
ROSHNI Building At Guduvanchery
We are situated in a locality where public transport is practically NIL. While we had to provide a bus seating 30 children, which was given to us by the largesse of Mahindra and Mahindra, the cost of maintaining the bus on the kuchha roads is proving high. We had to out-source additional transport as the numbers grew on a monthly hire basis.
Only 20% of the cost of transport comes from the children, a major portion is substituted by ROSHNI School.
The need to provide transport to the growing number of teachers (again who suffer from the lack of transport facilities,) as the school expands is imminent and we are seriously considering providing a Tata Magic Van considering their late hours of work and lack of transport in the area.
As mentioned, a good number of children are supported by ROSHNI through Sponsorship and Scholarships and as such the Income for the School is highly insufficient to meet the needs of maintenance, 
ever growing staff, and good salary scales with benefits. We see the need to restructure the pay scales as per the economy demands of the day in order to create better quality and increase numbers of both students and the teacher group.
Due to pandemics from the year 2020 and 2021 we have not been able to collect full fees and many have defaulted. We have not slashed salaries of our teaching staff. Infusion of funds required for online classes tech.support systems.
Development of Physical Training activities – establishing a running track to train children, and courts for games ranging from Volley Ball, Tennikoit, Running tracks are the proposals in the anvil.
